The Ice Towers Have Fallen!!!

The ice towers made the front page of the Yukon News. Take a look here

So... after almost 5 months of being a landmark on the Whitehorse Waterfront the tallest of the Equinox Ice Towers has fallen. It went down around 11 am Friday, April 11, 2008. No one was hurt though the BBQ was inconvenienced (and probably won't BBQ any more) and 5 sections of fence were mangled. Other than that no major damage occurred. Photo's to follow.

A big THANK YOU! to those who showed up to help removed ice from the road/sidewalk. And a huge thank you to Chris Gishler and Equinox Rox Adventures for providing a great place for ice climbers to go and play close to town. Hopefully we can do it all again next year!!!
